About Gin Lin

Gin Lin portrait

Gin Lin is a researcher and curator specializing in post-war and contemporary art. Working across Taipei, Shanghai, and New York, she develops exhibitions and programs across independent, institutional, and commercial contexts, translating critical frameworks into focused, audience-facing projects.

She has held positions at TANK Shanghai, the Fubon Art Foundation (Museum Preparation Office), and Christie’s New York in the Post-War and Contemporary Art department. Trained in both finance and contemporary art, Lin brings a dual perspective that aligns scholarly research with market insight, supporting artist positioning, strategic partnerships, and collection development. As an independent curator, her practice is grounded in cross-cultural perspectives, with a focus on contemporary Asian and diasporic contexts.

Gin Lin
